New Hair

My hair was just too long. And when i was driving back from KLIA today, i decided to go for a haircut.

Why am i blogging about this? Haha.. it's because today i decided to change my hairstyle. It has always been "Spiky". I've had the hairstyle for the longest time, and i just feel like changing it.

So, i went to my usual place, to see my fav hairdresser. This dude has been cutting my hair for almost 3 years. Basically he know what i want.

Martin: Macam biasa? (The usual?)
Me: No. I nak lain pulak. No more spiky. (No, I want something else)
Martin: Haha... Ya lah.. Sudah 3 tahun. (Yeah, it's been 3 years)
Me: Lebih dari tu lah! (More than that!)
Martin: So, you nak macam mana? (So, how do you want it?)
Me: I bagi you decide lah. I just nak style lain. (I'm gonna let you decide. I just want a different style)

I can't beleive i said that.

So, he chopped off all my mohawk elements and went on and on... Let's see the result:

HOWEVER, I WAS EVEN MORE THRILLED TO HAVE A CHANCE TO SPEND SOME TIME / MEET UP WITH THESE PEOPLE:

SUJATHA K. FROM MALAY MAIL. SHE IS JUST SO NICE!
DINO FROM ASTRO AWANI. THIS DUDE IS NAMED AFTER A FERRARI. NOT BY HIS DAD, BUT MUM!

MS WIDIA YANA. WE WERE CLASSMATES BACK AT UNI. NOW SHE IS "THE PERSON" AT NAZA.

DESS IN A DRESS. HAHA... SHE WAS TRYING TO ESCAPE FROM WEARING A DRESS. BUT I SAID NO. AHHAHAAHAHHA...

SAME APPLIES TO AUDREY. SHE HATES DRESSES AS WELL. AWH, BTW, NEXT TO AUDREY IS SIVA, THE CFO OF THE MALAYSIAN RESERVE.

SOME OF YOU MAY BE CONFUSED, SO, LET ME CLARIFY...
I WAS ATTACHED TO NAZA GROUP OF COMPANIES UNTIL I LEFT IN 2006 TO PURSUE MY
CAREER IN REPUTATION MERCATUS MALAYSIA.
THEY RECENTLY APPOINTED US (REPUTATION MERCATUS MALAYSIA) AS THEIR PR AGENCY
FOR NAZA ITALA LAUNCH.

Latest addition to Reputation Mercatus wall of fame

We coordinated the Ferrari press conference. It was such a memorable experience as we had to liase with the Ferrari officials.

Personally, it was a little bit extra for me. I got the oppurtunity to speak to Dato' Seri Jean Todt, Dato' Michelle Yeoh and a whole bunch of Ferrari people.

Awh, did i mention the Ferrari F1 drivers? Haha...

Eat your heart out!

P/S: A full story will be up soon. I am still very busy with the post-event stuff...

Sorry for the silence

Hello. I'm sorry I have not posted much lately. Let's call it crazy schedule. I have so many pictures but didn't have time to post it.

I was moving into a new place, had to go to Singapore due to my family stuff and getting extremely busy with work. Besides my current clients, NAZA, [the company i used to work] had appointed us as their PR agency for an event which is happening next week :)

I wanted to get each entry right before publishing it. But the delay somehow means i'm missing the point of blogging, so i've posted few entries backdated. Enjoy!

Cheers!

Rookies interview with Torque

We organised a session for the Red Bull Female Rookies team to share their experiences with Faisal, Editor of Torque magazine.

We had our briefing session prior to the interview and then it was showtime!

Left to right: Lina, Baizura, Leona & Put3

Rookies with the car.

Strike a pose!

The girls wrote something about this interview and i'm gonna copy-and-paste it here :)

It was a rainy day but nothing could dampen the spirits of the Rookie Team as we excitedly made our way over to Sunway to meet with the lovely folks from Torque magazine! We came in a bit earlier, eager to make sure we were fully prepared (i.e. - looking amazing) for our first one-on-one interview session with one of Malaysia's major motoring magazines!

Before long, Faisal (editor of Torque magazine) arrived and it was down to business.

We were a little nervous at first, but to our relief Faisal is actually really sweet and very easy to talk to!

In the end it felt more like a chat over coffee with a friend rather than a proper interview. We spoke about a lot of things but you're going to have to wait for the interview to run before you can find out what we spoke about! =) After the interview we made our way out outside to take pictures.

We honestly felt like celebrities, having the camera trained on us like that! We were attracting attention from everyone who was walking by.Here's a sneak preview of what you'll see in a future issue of Torque...

So don't forget to watch out for us, we're hitting your newsstands soon! =)
You can read more and check out their updates with their Facebook acc. Click here!

Something interesting happened after the interview. One of us accidently left a paperbag containing Digital Camera & few important stuff at the photography area. As we were walking to the car park, the guard came and asked if we left anything.

I'm glad to know that they were pretty observent and look for us. Kudos to the Sunway Resort Lagoon Hotel!

The guard returning our bag.

Cheers!

Lunch

The above pic should be able to speak for itself. I had a lunch media interview to facilitate. My property client, Magna Prima Berhad was interviewed by The Star.

We went for lunch at Marche, The Curve.

I had Grilled chicken breast. Notice the "heart shape"? It's just a simple thing but i find it very interesting.

I love Marche coz they have this drink. It's Dragon fruit + Honewdew. Loved it.

We proceed to Magna Prima's office for photoshoot & interview. That is Mr Lim Ching Choy, CEO of the company.

Gotta take few shots...

I had a long but very interesting conversation with the journalist. The topic was politics. One of the benefit of being a PR person is, i guess being able to obtain extremely interesting stories that dont go to press. Some people call it gossips, i call it perks!

Update: The story was published on 17th March 2008. Click here to read the article.

Cheers!

Meeting with the Rookies

I had a meeting with the new Red Bull Female Rookies today. We had our meeting and followed by a media briefing. Put3 is tied-up with work so we have to arrange for another session with her.

Ok, let me share something interesting. The girls were given the task to come up with a design that reflects their personality. This is for their helmet. I was eager to see how will it look like! I was picturing something flowery or anything girly but let's just have a look at samples they brought:

Haha.. It's nothing close! The designs was rather common, and we want something that truly reflect their personality. It could be something they like or whatever... they have the say coz after all, they will be wearing it.
So, we brought in the helmet, gave them marker pen, some paper and get them to draw..

Lina: I need to drink first

Leona: Hurrmmm....I think i know what i want...

Baizura: I want it like this..... like that... Yeah...

Leona: [Concentrating on her masterpiece]

And......

Tadaaaaa...... This is Leona's design. Yeap... A turtle.

Lina and Baizura decided with their design as well. But i can't put it here yet. The drawings dont look nice taken by my Nokia 6600.

This is Baizura & Lina.. looking happy

And this is Audrey, Irma & Dess. Even more happy!

By the way, Dess wanted to take part in the female driver search next year. And she already got her helmet design ready.. wanna see?

Hahahhahaha..... sorry dess!

Cheers!
